Welcome to HiredRes (“HiredRes”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The Service

HiredRes provides AI-powered tools to analyze, rewrite, and improve résumés, generate cover letters, interview questions, and related job-search materials. Some features are free; others require an active paid subscription (“Pro”).

2. Accounts

You may use most free features without an account. To save analyses, manage a subscription, or access Pro features, you must sign in with a supported authentication provider. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that you do not have the right to use.
  • Use the service to harm minors, harass others, or generate misleading or fraudulent content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or interfere with the service or its underlying AI providers.
  • Resell, white-label, or use the service to operate a competing résumé-AI product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions are provided through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment processing, billing, currency conversion, sales tax, and VAT/GST in your jurisdiction. By purchasing a subscription you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled before renewal. You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your dashboard or by contacting support; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. Where required by law (for example the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers), statutory rights apply on top of that policy.

6. AI-generated content

HiredRes uses third-party large-language-model providers to generate suggestions, rewrites, and related text. AI output may contain inaccuracies, hallucinated facts, or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before using it, including confirming that all factual claims about your work history, dates, employers, qualifications, and achievements are true.

You retain ownership of the résumé text you submit. To the extent allowed by applicable law, we do not claim rights in the AI output produced for you, except for the right to operate, debug, and improve the service.

7. Intellectual property

The HiredRes name, logo, software, design, and underlying templates are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for personal job-search purposes. All other rights are reserved.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that HiredRes will help you obtain any specific interview, job offer, or salary.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiredRes's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in that case the limits apply to the maximum extent allowed.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if continued provision becomes commercially impractical. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations, governing law) will survive.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email for active subscribers. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
